PROGRAMME: Teachers’ Workshop - Metacognition for
Mathematical Problem Solving

Location: Farrer Park Branch, Singapore
Number of Participants: 25 teachers and would-be trainers,
including school teachers, current tutors and tuition owners
We have invited Mr Ng Foo Keong to conduct this workshop. Mr
Ng graduated from University of Cambridge and has a Masters
in Education from National Institute of Education, Nanyang
Technological University (NIE NTU). He was former lecturer
and teacher at National Institute of Education, Nanyang
Technological University (NIE NTU), Raffles Institution
(RI), Junior College and Polytechnic.
100% of the attendees feedback that the workshop is useful
and helpful in the use of a different approach to teaching
and coaching students. Most attendees feel that the workshop
comes at an appropriate time given that the PSLE Mathematics
has recently become more challenging with the newly
introduced changes.
