Terms and Conditions
1. Enrollment
  1. New students may commence class at any point during the year, provided that there are vacancies.
  2. SmartLab reserves the rights to publish our students’ results.
2. Fees and Charges
  1. Registration Fee ($30): One time payment for each new student. Registration fee will still apply to a student who had quit and rejoined at a later date.
  2. Refundable Deposit Fee ($100): One time payment for each new student. This will be refunded provided 2 weeks notice is given for terminating all classes.
3. Payment of Tuition Fees
  1. Tuition fees are payable in advance. Due date: 1st of the calendar month.
  2. Late payments: No late penalty will be imposed for payments made within 14 days of the due date. A late fee of $2 per subject will be charged for fees paid after 14 days but before the last day of the calendar month. Thereafter, the late fee is $5 per subject per month.
  3. Waiver of fees: For classes missed due to illness will be offset in the next month's bill. Only applicable when medical certificate from the doctor is presented. Not applicable when a replacement lesson is given.
4. Classes
  1. Reschedule: Classes maybe rescheduled when unforeseen circumstances occur, e.g. illness of the tutor, accidents or emergencies.
  2. Brought forward classes: It has been our practice to bring classes to an earlier date before major examinations in May and Oct. The purpose is to have more lesson time to prepare the students for the examinations.
  3. Termination of classes: 2 weeks' notice must be given.
5. Lessons
  1. Make-up lessons: Make-up lessons for students who missed classes are NOT guaranteed. If available and permissible, students could request to join another class of the same level and subject either in the same branch or a different branch.
