Math & Science Enrichment course for School |

SmartLab offered an enrichment programme for secondary students of Madrasah Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiah who are preparing for the 2009 O level exams. There are currently 23 students who signed up for the enrichment program for EMaths and Chemistry.
The O level EMaths and Chemistry enrichment lessons were tailored to suit the needs of the Madrasah students. The school stated the area of focus for the two subjects. SmartLab, in turn, prepared the lesson design for the area of focus which consists largely as follows: (1) Revision on the area of focus for each subject. (2) Consolidation exercise where students were exposed to novel problem in unfamiliar context, which is one of the key emphasis by CIE, University of Cambridge when GCE O level questions are developed and set. (3) Discussion and drilling on presentation of answers in accordance to GCE O level marking schemes. GCE O level marking schemes were provided. All the teaching materials used for the enrichment programme were provided by SmartLab. The students were also given an online tuition account to post questions online should they have any queries. It would be answered within 48 hours. A survey were conducted to the students by SmartLab regarding the enrichment lessons. The comments of the students are enclosed below. Math Programme
