Design Rationale
“SmartLab®” is specially selected to
represent the important stages in the learning cycle:
“Smart” requires the learners to watch and think when
learning, while “Lab” seeks learners to learn by active
experimentation and to learn from mistakes.
Believe in
Yourself. We strive to
instil confidence in all company members and students
through an encouraging environment and by providing the best
conditions for learning. Confident staff and learners who
believe in their abilities are able to go on to achieve
their aims in lives and excel in whatever they are doing.
The logo comprises the overlapped letters “S” and “L”
which represent “Smart” and “Lab” from the company’s full
name, enclosed by a diamond-like structure. The overlapped
letters is representative of the cycle of learning
indicating the importance of repeating smart thinking when
reviewing what had been learnt and lab-like approach when
doing. The diamond enclosing the letters represents the
learner’s mental resilience, strength, perseverance and
courage in dealing with challenges while learning.
The dark blue colour represents knowledge, sincerity
and seriousness in providing professional services in
education. Blue colour is considered to be beneficial to the
mind and body by producing a calming effect, which is
conducive for learning. The white colour for letterings and
logo is the colour of perfection representing the company’s
relentless efforts to strive to improve the curriculum and
services, training of the teachers, and learning environment
to attain the highest possible standards.
