EZ link card for Singaporeans
|
|
|
|
Candidates have to be below 21 years of age and not gainfully employed to apply for EZ link card.
|
|
|
|
National Service Deferment for Singaporean Males
|
|
|
|
NS liable persons will generally be granted deferment to pursue full-time courses (not leading to a degree qualification) if they are able to commence the course before 18 years old as at the date of course commencement.
|

All interested applicant should send in their application at
least two(2) months prior to the next intake.

Students may obtain course application form from SmartLab®
Education Private School
and
submit after filling. Application fee payable to SmartLab® Education Private School in cash or cashier order.
-
Student will be scheduled to attend an interview with the school
assessor for course review. An entrance test may be required and
scheduled on a later date.
-
A letter of offer will be issued within 1 week upon receipt of
all completed documents and registration fees (student pass
processing fee and Int'l Student administrative fee).
-
Student will accept the offer by signing the letter of
acceptance.
-
International students are required to sign the Standard Student
Contract and are edu trusted under the (Fee (FPS) – refer
to Annex A) through Escrow Scheme.
-
All the documents will be vetted and sent together to Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
-
The processing time is about 2 – 6 weeks upon receipt of
application by ICA. In some cases, ICA may require longer
processing time depending on the case of each application.

The school will be notified of the outcome by post.

The applicant has to fill up ICA forms and furnish necessary
documents (photocopies) in compliance to ICA:

Immigration & Checkpoints Authority
(ICA) Regulations
|
|
|
All international students with
Student’s Pass must meet all of the following requirements:
-
Students are required to undertake a medical check up upon
arriving in Singapore
-
A student must attend a minimum of 90% of scheduled course hours
or not be absent from the course for consecutive 7 days.
-
A student must not engage in any form of activities that may
contravene the conditions (including those stated in the
Student’s Pass application form, In-principle Approval letter
and Student’s Pass card) in which a Student’s Pass is issued
(e.g. illegal employment).
-
A student must not remain in Singapore after the expiry of the
Student’s Pass and the PEO shall inform ICA of his/her means and
dates of departure.
-
A student is only permitted to attend the course after approval
of the Student’s Pass has been given by ICA.
-
A student must not be retained as a student in any other
school/s or course/s other than indicated in the Student’s Pass.
-
A student must surrender the Student’s Pass for cancellation
within seven days from the date of cessation or termination of
his/her studies or course/s.

Student Contract

SmartLab® Education Private School adopts CPE’s Standard Private Education Institute-Student Contract (English) without any deviation.
The CPE’s Standard Private Education Institute-Student Contract (English) is a legally binding contract between SmartLab® Education Private School and its student. It incorporates the following mandatory requirements;

Clear definition of course details including course title, course duration, entry requirements and qualifications awarded.

Committed to Fees Protection Scheme
by Student Tuition Fee Account

Full details of all cost for
Tuition and Non- tuition Fee.
-
Clear definition of Refund policy
covering - refunds in the event courses failed to commence and
end on time, - time frame for student initiated withdrawal from
the course.

Dispute resolution mechanisms.

Fees Protection Scheme
|
|
|
|
|
For every Private School student (local and international), SmartLab® Education Private School puts in place the Fee Protection Scheme (the “FPS”) stipulated by EduTrust by way of a Student Tuition Fee Account (Escrow) pursuant to the terms and conditions of the standard PEI-student contract made between the student and SmartLab®.

Changes of Student Particulars
|
|
|
|
|
Students must notify SmartLab® Education Private School
in writing of any changes to their personal particulars and
addresses within two weeks of changes.

Cancellation of Student Pass
|
|
|
|
|
Applicants must complete
Transfer / Withdrawal Form stating the reasons why they want to
withdraw or transfer within 7 days from the date of termination of
their study.
Applicants must surrender his/her student pass for cancellation to
ICA within 7 days from the date of cessation or termination of their
